What does the Foundation committee do?
The Rotary Foundation is a charitable organization that supports the efforts of Rotary International to achieve world understanding, goodwill, and peace. It’s known for its humanitarian grants which fund international scholarships, cultural exchanges, and community development projects that improve health, support education, and alleviate poverty. The Foundation is unique in that it is supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation who share its vision of a better world.
Here are some key points about The Rotary Foundation:

- History: Founded over 100 years ago with an initial contribution of $26.50.
- Financial Structure: It operates exclusively for charitable purposes and is governed by a Board of Trustees.
