Introduction

Our District 1130 is unique in that we are the only district in RotaryGBI to have such an extensive range of sports and games competitions.

We are all competing for the ‘Fellowship Cup’ not the Sports Cup.

PDG Dennis Green coined the phrase a few years ago ‘Fellowship through Sport’ and I feel that this sums it up very succinctly.

The basis of Rotary is Fellowship, so what better way is there to express this than by joining in the fun!!

Taking part in any of the sports/games competitions is a great way to meet Rotarians outside of your Club and across the District. The wide variety of competitions provides something for everyone regardless of age or gender. Taking part provides great Fellowship and builds lasting friendships.

Summer Sports 2026

Application Forms for summer sports events [Download] are being sent out to every Club Sports Officer (or Secretary or President if not noted in the District Directory).
